Frequently asked questions

Will my video get a copyright claim?

Tracks are generated new for you instead of coming from a shared stock library, which avoids a common cause of claims: the same stock track registered by someone else. No tool can promise zero claims, though — avoid prompts that name real artists or songs, keep your files, and read our Content ID guide.

How do I keep the music from fighting the voice-over?

Ask for "no vocals, no drums, no big drops, steady and unobtrusive" and name soft instruments like piano, pads or strings. Lyria 3 Pro and Stable Audio are great for instrumentals, and Suno makes instrumentals too when you say so.

Can I get an exact length, like 30 seconds?

Yes. ElevenLabs Music and Stable Audio let you pick the length: from 10 seconds up to about 3 minutes. Suno decides the length itself, so it's better for full-length tracks you trim in your editor.

Can I use what I make in my game or video?

SunoBoard doesn't claim any rights over the music and sound effects you generate — what you make is yours (see our Terms). The audio comes from third-party AI models, so each model provider's terms also apply; check them before a commercial release. Read the Terms

How much does it cost?

The free plan includes 5 credits a month (up to 10 songs with Suno) and 10 sound effects, no credit card needed. One Suno request costs 1 credit and returns 2 songs; other models cost more and always show their cost before you generate. Paid plans add more credits, and Pro and up include an API key for Claude Code.

Can I do this from Claude?

Yes. Add SunoBoard as a custom connector in Claude.ai (the free plan works) or use an API key in Claude Code and Claude Desktop (Pro plan and up). Claude can then generate music and sound effects for you, and every file also lands in your SunoBoard library.
