Horror game music

Horror game music and sound design with AI

Horror lives on dread, not melody. Generate slow drones, detuned music boxes, chase themes and jump-scare stingers, then add creaking doors, distant footsteps and room tone from the Sound FX page — all in one place, built around your game's mood.

Frequently asked questions

What makes game music sound scary?

Low drones, dissonant intervals, unpredictable silences and sounds that feel slightly wrong, like a detuned music box. Ask for "no melody" and "no drums" for ambience and save rhythm for chases. Our horror sound design guide goes deeper.

Can I make ambience loops for horror levels?

Yes. Stable Audio 2.5 makes long instrumental beds up to about 3 minutes, and the Stable Audio ambience model on the Sound FX page makes loops at an exact length up to 60 seconds.

Can I make jump scares and creepy sound effects too?

Yes: door creaks, whispers, footsteps, scratches and stingers from 0.5 to 10 seconds. Sound effects use their own monthly allowance (10 on the free plan), not your music credits.

Can I use what I make in my game or video?

SunoBoard doesn't claim any rights over the music and sound effects you generate — what you make is yours (see our Terms). The audio comes from third-party AI models, so each model provider's terms also apply; check them before a commercial release. Read the Terms

How much does it cost?

The free plan includes 5 credits a month (up to 10 songs with Suno) and 10 sound effects, no credit card needed. One Suno request costs 1 credit and returns 2 songs; other models cost more and always show their cost before you generate. Paid plans add more credits, and Pro and up include an API key for Claude Code.

Can I do this from Claude?

Yes. Add SunoBoard as a custom connector in Claude.ai (the free plan works) or use an API key in Claude Code and Claude Desktop (Pro plan and up). Claude can then generate music and sound effects for you, and every file also lands in your SunoBoard library.
